Defects prone to the shoulder of glass dropper bottles

(1) Cleft shoulder. Surface cracks at shoulders. Gob temperature is too high or too low.
The initial mold or forming mold is not opened smoothly.
Positive blowing pressure is too high.
The forming mold and the bottom of the mold are improperly matched.
Forming die clamps are severely worn.
Forming mold temperature is too high.


(2) Thin shoulders. The shoulder is partially or completely thin.
Gob temperature is high or uneven.
Gob shape is too long or too short.
Blanking is not correct.
The prototype is too hot.
The prototype is over-oiled.
Positive puffing starts too late.
Back blowing air pressure is small or the time is short.


(3) Insufficient bottle shoulders (slumped shoulders, sunken shoulders). Bottle shoulder not fully formed.
Gob temperature is too high or too low.
The shape of the gob is not good or the thin material is not correct, and there is a lot of friction on the forehearth.
The position of the blowing head is improper or the blowing pressure is too small.
The positive blowing time is too short.
The blowing pressure is too high or the time is too long, and the initial shape is too hard.
Insufficient reheat time.
