Use child-safe packaging to protect children's health

At this stage, the domestic pharmaceutical industry does not pay enough attention to child safety issues, while foreign pharmaceutical companies are paying more and more attention to such issues. Most of the medicine bottles in Zhongguan Medicine and pharmacies do not use bottles that prevent children from opening, and only a few imported medicines use such bottles. If the ordinary packaging of medicines is replaced with child-safe packaging, the packaging cost of medicines will inevitably increase, and the price will also increase. In this way, the sales of medicines will inevitably be affected.

Parents and society as a whole have an obligation to take responsibility for preventing children from being mistaken. Parents should pay more attention to drug packaging with potential safety hazards; while the society and the entire pharmaceutical packaging industry should focus on eliminating potential safety hazards. In this regard, developed countries in Europe and the United States have developed for many years. According to the survey structure of the State Food and Drug Administration, my country has the conditions to produce child-safe bottles. If there is a need and conditions, it should use industry norms and formulate mandatory safety bottle production standards to prevent children from taking it by mistake as soon as possible.
