How to identify lead-free glass bottles and lead-containing glass bottles?

Glass bottles are divided into ordinary glass bottles and crystal glass bottles, and crystal glass bottles are divided into two types: lead-free glass bottles and lead-containing glass bottles. So how do we identify lead-free glass bottles?

The method is actually very simple. We can distinguish lead-containing glass bottles from lead-free glass bottles by looking at weight, logo, color, heat resistance and other aspects.

How to identify lead-free glass bottles:
1. Look at the logo: lead-free glass bottles generally contain potassium, are mostly high-end crafts and have logos on the outer packaging.

2. Look at the color: lead-free glass bottles have better refractive properties than traditional lead-containing glass bottles, and more perfectly show the refractive properties of metal glass.

3. Look at heat resistance: glass bottles can generally withstand very high temperatures, but generally have poor resistance to extreme cold and heat. Lead-free glass bottles are glass with a high expansion coefficient, and their resistance to extreme cold and heat is a little worse. If they are placed in a particularly cold lead-free glass bottle with boiling water, they are prone to bursting.

4. Weigh the weight: lead-containing glass products are slightly heavier than lead-free glass products.

5. Listen to the sound: The sound of lead-free glass bottles is more pleasant than the metallic sound of lead-containing glass bottles.

6. Look at the toughness: lead-free glass bottles are more resilient and impact-resistant than lead-containing glass bottles.
